Asian Lettuce Wraps

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned. Drain grease.In a small bowl, whisk together oil, soy sauce, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Drizzle sauce evenly over ground beef. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook an additional 3–5 minutes.Add water chestnuts, bell pepper, green onions, and carrots. Cook 2–3 minutes, stirring frequently.Remove pan from heat and place meat mixture in a serving bowl. To assemble wraps, spoon about 1⁄3 cup meat mixture onto each full lettuce leaf. Serve warm, open-faced similar to a taco shell.
